Brewarrina Memorial Swimming Pool and Aquatic Park is located on Church Street, right next door to the Brewarrina Caravan and Camping Park. The newly refurbished facility is a little slice of luxury in the Outback, hot showers, lush green lawns to spread your towel out on with plenty of shade to relax under while the family enjoys the highly interactive Aquatic Park, or get your dose of low impact daily exercise in the 50m pool, which maintains a temperature between 18 and 23. The Pool Kiosk serves all your favourites from childhood visits to the pool – hot chips, potato scallops, ice blocks and slushies.
The brand new Aquatic Park is approximately 500 square metres of beautifully painted surfaces inspired by the local natural environment and rich Aboriginal Culture. The Aquatic Park features state of the art sensory water park activities including a Mega Splash, Zoopa Doopa Misty Hoops, Water Rooms, ground geysers and Triple Tippy Buckets for those who don’t mind a proper drenching! The Aquatic Park also has sandstone seating under shade sails so parents can keep an eye on their little ones.
The pool is open from 6am to 8am for early risers and 10.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am to 7pm Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Entry is FREE for everyone.
