Mental Health in the Workplace

Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section Wellbeing Place, in Broken Hill is open to the people of Broken Hill and the Far West. We offer Mental Health and AOD counselling as well as Wellbeing programs within the Far West.

For small business week we have been asked by Business Far West to deliver a workshop on Mental health within the workplace.

When: 17th of March 2022
Time: 2pm-3pm
Where: RFDS Wellbeing Place 343 Blende Street Broken Hill.

The workshop will cover a range of different topics to help support small businesses and their employees to raise awareness and understanding about mental health and wellbeing within the work place. The session will provide:
• What is a mental health illness?
• How common are mental health illnesses?
• Facts and figures of mental health illnesses.
• How you as a small business can start supporting your employees in mental health.
• Building morale and promoting wellbeing.
• Information on local services and supports available.
• Other information and a Q & A will be provided at the end of the session.

RFDSSE will have trained and experienced mental health clinicians present and facilitating the session.
